Phase 01 — She Starts System

RESET

Confusion becomesClarity

RESET is the first phase of the She Starts system. It cannot be skipped, shortened, or taken independently.

Every participant begins here. This is intentional.

Career restart success depends on clarity before capability. RESET exists to establish that clarity.

Why RESET Exists

Most career restart programmes fail at the beginning, not the end.

They rush women into:

skills

tools

roles

and expectations

without first resolving the real blockers created by a career gap.

Career gap realities

Women returning after a gap often face:

  • uncertainty about direction
  • fear of judgement
  • hesitation in communication
  • outdated self-perception
  • misalignment with current life responsibilities

Emotional and practical blockers

Beyond skills, many women struggle with:

  • guilt or shame around the gap
  • low confidence in speaking
  • unclear availability of time and energy
  • family expectations and support dynamics
  • pressure to "just start something"

What RESET Focuses On

RESET is not training.

RESET is diagnostic, stabilising, and directional. It works across five essential areas.

Identity and narrative reset

Participants learn to:

  • separate who they were before the gap, during the gap, and now
  • explain their career break without apology or justification
  • speak about their past calmly and professionally

The goal is ownership, not explanation.

Confidence and voice stabilisation

Confidence in RESET is not motivation-based. Participants practise:

  • speaking without shrinking
  • pausing without panic
  • expressing thoughts clearly
  • talking about themselves without fear

The focus is voice stability, not performance.

Reality and constraint mapping

RESET confronts reality early to prevent burnout later. Participants assess:

  • actual time availability
  • energy and mental load
  • family responsibilities and support
  • financial urgency
  • feasible work modes (remote, hybrid, on-site)

Decisions must be livable, not idealised.

Digital, English and workplace diagnostics

RESET establishes a behavioural baseline. Participants are observed on:

  • professional communication
  • English comfort in thinking and responding
  • digital workplace behaviour
  • basic tool familiarity
  • remote etiquette and presence
  • AI usage as an assistant, not a shortcut

This is diagnosis, not judgement.

Career awareness and elimination

Participants are exposed to realistic career options, including:

  • day-to-day work expectations
  • tools used in real roles
  • time required to reach first outcomes
  • realistic income ranges
  • lifestyle impact and suitability

Equally important, participants are encouraged to eliminate paths that do not fit.

Choosing what not to pursue is treated as progress.

RESET Decision Gate

RESET ends with a formal progression gate.

At the end of this phase, one of three outcomes occurs.

Proceed to REBUILD

Clarity, readiness, and commitment are established.

Repeat RESET once

Effort is genuine, but more stabilisation or clarity is required.

Exit with clarity and guidance

The participant leaves with direction, ownership, and next steps, even if continuation is not appropriate.

Not everyone moves forward. This isintentional and ethical.
